Not contagious tb: Inactive tuberculosis is seen on xray as thickening or scarring sometimes with calcification usually in the top of the lungs. Inactive Someone with latent or inactive tuberculosis is infected with the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis,, but shows no symptoms and is not infectious.
