A member asked:

Will intravenous vodka work for severe pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: Nothing should ever be injected that is not sterile and made specifically for injection, and then only by appropriate medical professionals for the right reason. Iv vodka would have a very good chance of producing a severe vein inflammation (thrombophlebitis), which could cost you your arm (or leg), cause horrible pain itself, and do nothing for your underlying pain. You need mental health help now.
