A member asked:

Hi docs, would spinal cord injuries show up on an x-ray?

No: Plain film x rays do not have the soft tissue resolution to depict spinal cord pathology. The best test is an mri.

No: They may be inferred by a cervical fracture or subluxation. An MRI would be more useful to actually see the cord.
