Could it be unsafe to buy seafood right now because of the fukushima radiation in the pacific ocean?

Enjoy your seafood: I'm sorry anyone troubled you with these fears. There's radiation everywhere and the background radiation was increased only very near the site of the accident.

Highly unlikely: Except for some bottom dwellers directly off the coast of Japan, fish caught in the pacific do not have higher levels of radiation. The level of radioactive cesium from Fukushima, is hundreds of times lower than the levels of naturally occurring radiosotopes (Polonium) in seafood.
