I have been diagnosed with vitaligo. what are the current treatments and can this be cured?

No cure, +treatments: There is currently no cure for vitiligo, but many treatment options available and it is best discussed with an experienced dermatologist. Systemic steroid, phototherapy/psoralen and/or excimer laser (for limited disease) in combo with some topicals may help. Few topical preps such as tacrolimus and vitamind analog ointments may provide benefit. Would consult doc/dermatology for this..Good luck.

Vitiligo: There are a number of treatments available. Most common is treatment with a cortisone cream. You can find a full list at http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/vitiligo/ds00586/dsection=treatments-and-drugs. Generally, you don't get a complete cure, but can achieve substantial remission or improvement.
