Can you tell me is a dislocation the same thing as a fracture?

They are not: A fracture is where there is a disruption in the bone. A dislocation occurs when 2 bones at a joint are no longer in contact with each other.

Different: Fracture indicates that the bone is broken. Dislocation is if the bone is out of place with or without a fracture.
