Depends on the: type of test. Antibody test may not be positive this soon. It can take up to one year to turn positive. You can get tested for HIV nucleic acid and for that it is not too early.

HIV testing: Most people will develop antibodies to HIV 6 weeks after exposure. Current (4th generation) HIV tests look for evidence of viral antigen as well as antibody. Please request that you be tested with this particular type of test.
