ANA: While an ANA test is a good screen for lupus, you still need confirmatory testing -- i recommend you see your doctor or a rheumatologist.

Lupus tests: Other tests to consider to confirm a diagnosis of lupus include: anti-double-stranded dna, anti-smith, anti-u1rnp, anti-ro/ssa, and anti-la/ssb. Rheumatologist: There are defined criteria for the diagnosis of sle and positive ANA is just one of the factors. You should consult a rheumatologist for a proper diagnostic work-up.
