I'm in so much pain can't sleep, what long term damage can alcohol poisoning cause?

You mean, other than: Killing you or causing permanent brain damage? You need to see a physician, either your pcp or a pain specialist to look for the cause of the pain, and appropriate ways to treat it. Alcohol intoxication may temporarily cause you to fall asleep, but there often a fine line between the amount of alcohol that causes sleep and that which causes coma and death.
