Not true!: You will get stronger, if you exercise 3 times a week at least. If you do less, then you won't get stronger and you never get used to it. Whoever said exercise makes you weaker, is not the person you need to talk to for any factual, well-informed advice. That friend probably cannot be trusted to give accurate information about anything.
