Stretch marks are: very common in teenagers. They come from a combination of increased hormone levels at that time and the stretching of skin that occurs in areas of the body that typically enlarge at this time (breasts, thighs, abdomen are most common). They generally fade over time. There are not great treatments for them, but you could ask your dermatologist if there is anything they can try for you.
