Is -7 vision on both sides bad for a teenager?

Not particularly: This is a higher degree of myopia but not excessive. With proper eyeglasses or contacts, the teenager can function well. Everyone would like to have perfect vision but most do not, and we all seem to function well if this is the only problem.
