Need diagnosis: In the absence of pain or difficulty in swallowing (dysphagia), the tightness in the throat may be muscle tension secondary to anxiety. I know that this sounds like a leap of faith but the symptoms without any other complaint need a diagnosis. See an ENT doctor for an appropriate diagnosis.
