Candidal vaginitis: Canesten is clotrimazole, an antifungal medication that should help against vaginal candidiasis. It's possible though that the Candida may have some resistance, or there is something going on besides just a simple candidal infection. I would recommend going to see your GYN doctor. They can certainly help - by making the correct diagnosis and guiding treatment more effectively.
