Just a little?: Need specific diagnosis eg dementia or something like psychosis or schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Take him to see his Family Doc, Neurologist or Psychiatrist for evaluation. Bring all meds, pills supplements etc. Perhaps change in mental status is due to alcohol? Drug-drug interaction? Will need labs to check for reversible causes. Also at least head CT to check for bleeding or mass in head.
