When, how often: The most common scene i face is the kid who awoke with a bloody pillow or sheets & tinge of blood on his/her nose. This is often related to itchiness felt when a kid suffers from nasal irritants or allergies & rubs his/her face into the pillow in their sleep. Tender capillaries in the nose leak & stop. The doc can verify the location of the bleeding. Nasal saline jell applied before bed often helps
