24-32 ounces: A typical one month old will drink 2-3 ounces every 2-3 hours. There is variability among infants but at a minimum your baby should be drinking 24 ounces of formula or breast milk a day. If you are breast feeding there is no need to measure the number of ounces just aim for 8-12 feedings in a 24 hour period.
