No: Osteoarthritis cannot progress to Fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia is a distinct separate diagnosis that usually is diagnosis of exclusion, meaning you have to have nothing else that is similar to be causing the pain to have Fibromyalgia. At this time moderate exercise, joint supplements, NSAIDs are the mainstay treatment for OA. If you need specific help, I would consult your doctor.
