Testing: I would recommend a full physical with blood testing for autoimmune diseases . Also a examination from a rheumatologist would be a good next srwp.

Absolutely: It would seem unusual to have a 29 yo with severe osteoarthritis and so you definitely could have more of an inflammatory arthritis, many of which fall in the category of autoimmune disorders.
