Don't understand ?: If you are in a group home, the staff are required to give you medication as the doctor ordered it, but no more often than that. Tramadol can cause seizures even in high therapeutic doses (like 4 times a day), so they are perhaps being cautious. I don't know what you mean by the nicotine comment and what that has to do with the tramadol. Talk to your doctor and have him talk to the staff.
