What do you recommend if i have a big cut on my leg and i have put savlon antiseptic cream on it, and i wanted to know if it was the same as neosporin?

No: Main component of savlon is cetrimide which is an antiseptic. On the other hand neosporin is an antibiotic which is effective against infection. Savlon protects against infection. Neosporin treat infection. You cannot substitute savlon with neosporin. Use of savlon will reduce the changes of infection and use of neosporin.
