Keep it clean!!!: If you are not planning on seeing a doctor, keep the would clean, keep the edges as closed as possible and keep pressure off the area. It should heal without stitches, provided you know how to treat such a cut. Apply a homeopathic cream called traumeel (available at most whole foods stores). If not, you better see a doctor for evaluation and more advice.
