Please rephrase...: What exactly would you like your dentist to shave? The alveolar bone will slowly resorb without the stimulus of tooth roots. Dental implants may be the answer for you.

Won't work: Won't work. See an oral surgeon for expert answer to this problem. Bone grafts can be done to decrease bone shrinkage.
