Oily skin: Sometimes our efforts to reduce oil and control acne are too effective causing a strange mix of dry scaly oily skin. The solution is actually to pull back slightly on your drying regimen -namely the oil-stripping soaps, salicylic acids, benzoyl peroxide, exfoliates and retinoids by decreasing concentration or frequency. I often have success with dhc cleansing oil (sounds crazy, but works).
