Muscles' balance: Interesting observation! many muscles work together in a delicate balance to raise or lower the corners of your mouth/lips to smile or frown. For instance, a large, sheet-like muscles called platysma pulls down the lip corners. If muscles like platysma are chronically tense, muscles to raise lip corners, or smile, will work harder, and quiver. Unbalanced bite may cause this also.
