Hi doctor, my friend got a facial fat extraction, it's been 3 months. she feel the left face is 0.5 degrees colder than the other face, and while laughing, the edge of mouth would shake. would it be possible to recover? is there any cure or medicine

Nerve damage?: Feeling of cold and shaking of the mouth may indicate that during the extraction, a nerve was injured. Depending on the severity of the injury, the nerve may heal or it may not. Only time will tell. Healing can take up to 6 months to a year to regain normal sensation. If it does not, the damage may be permanent. In cases of facial paralysis, surgical nerve grafts can restore function.
