Bloody discharge: Most of the times it's due to a benign papilloma, a tumor that grows within the duct. Bloody nipple discharge in someone under 40 is caused by cancer in less than 3-5% of cases so i would not be too worried but certainly agree with having it checked. Best to you.

Bloody discharge can: be caused by malignancy, but most of the time it is due to benign intraductal papilloma.
