Need more info.: Is the pain focal or generalized? Does it affect both breasts? I recommend a breast ultrasound exam to be certain what is presumed to be an enlarged lymph node is not a simple cyst or a fibroadenoma. Breast malignancy is unlikely, but the possibility must be considered. A normal mammogram in this situation might not be helpful, especially if you have dense breast tissue.

There are: multiple causes of breast region pain, most benign, and there are multiple causes of enlarged lymph nodes, most benign. Not enough info to speculate on the specific etiology or etiologies, need to wait for the results of the work up.
