Inflammation: Unless you recall a recent shoulder injury, you could have a bursitis of the shoulder. If you're able to take nsaids like ibuprofen, they may help reduce pain and inflammation. If your symptoms persist or worsen, see an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
