I've had a fever iff and in since last night could this be caused by the stent inside me from kidney stone removal?

Possible infection: If there is no other obvious cause for fever, i would be concerned about an urinary tract infection related to the indwelling stent. Discuss the fever with your urologist.

Infection: You have some type of infection. Given you have a ureteral stent, you might have a kidney infection. Please see your doctor.

Possible urinary infection: Ureteral stents in and of themselves do not cause fever's. Your stone may have been treated with eswl or by cystoscopy, ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy. Prophylactic antibiotics are often used at the time of the procedure and at the discretion of the urologist are continued. You are presently on ciprofloxacin.
