I'm experiencing a bad dry cough; and few timesi have wet cough with mucus . i am taking a cough suppressant. can i take also mucinex (guaifenesin) for mucus ?

Certainly: You can take Mucinex (guaifenesin) along with a cough suppressant. Just make sure it does not have an expectorant in the ingredients already. Also drink plenty of liquids - warm or hot preferably to help thin out the thick mucus clogging up your airways.
