Disc Herniation: Strengthening exercises, such as pull up and pushups, can be done with a disc herniation dependent on the acuity of the herniation and if you still have symptoms from the injury. No symptoms, then proceed with good form, progressively. Start slowly an build yourself up. If you still have pain r symptoms, then see your physician for evaluation.
