A member asked:

Abdomen usg says: fatty liver, mild splenomegaly, diffuse bowel wall thickening at right illiac region. possibility of distal iletis. is it serious?

Yes: This is not likely to be a mild everyday illness like a head cold. There are many possible causes for these findings and would urge you to follow up and take your doctors instructions very seriously. This may be something like crohn's disease with complications, tuberculosis has to be included in the considered diagnoses, along with possible tumors. Hope all turns out well. Good luck.

Does not : Sound good. Hard to say how serious without more information. Could be from an infection of some site that is treatable, but you should not have any of these issues especially so young.
