Yes: It is ok to drink water it will not hurt, but it is not likely to help very much. If you are that uncomfortable you should have this evaluated. There are many things that can cause "indigestion" and the treatment differs. If you symptoms are severe than go to the the er so it can be treated quickly, otherwise get in to see your family doctor. Good health.

Chlorine free water: Try chlorine free water ('Spring' bottled water). Consume room temperature water instead of having it hot or cold. Take a vitamin D3 supplement (10k IU/day) since it is an anti-inflammatory hormone.
