Many: The children may be sad, tearful and withdrawn and loose interest even to activities they once loved and enjoyed. They may become "bored" with many things as their view of themselves and the world becomes negative. Kids may feel hopeless and appear irritable and cranky. Their appearance may change, they may seem unkempt and you may notice their sleeping and eating pattern has changed. Get help now.

Many: Social withdrawal, change in school performance, diminished enjoyment or participation in doing things for fun, irritability, anxiety, changes in sleep, etc. Any suspicion of depression should be evaluated by a physician.
