A doctor has provided 1 answer

TACE?: If you mean transarterial chemoembolization then yes, absolutely. You can have low grade fevers for several weeks. The chemo is causing cell death (tumor) and inflammatory mediators are being released. If he is otherwise ok, it should decrease over time. If he has any other symptoms (abdominal pain, swelling, drainage from the puncture site, etc.) go see your doctor.
