Ask for help from Do: You should be guided and assisted by the treating doctors. Fever following tace is common and can go on for up to 2 weeks. If it persists beyond that time, make sure you do not have an infection somewhere in your body. But do keep in touch with your treating team of doctors.

Fever post TACE: The fever develops from the induced killing of the tumor tissue i.e. Infarction so it should subside by three days if persists either from the cancer itself or from developing an abscess after the tace session.
