A member asked:

What does variably sized follicles showing reactive germinal centers, some enlarged follicles show disrupted germinal centers but serpentine mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Microscopic descript: That part of the biopsy report is a verbal description of what the pathogist sees when he/ she looks at the biopsy under the microscope. All those findings are typically seen in a reactive, benign enlarged lymph node. Reactive lymph nodes can be seen in many inflammatory and infectious conditions, so be sure to follow up so your doctor can find out what is causing it.
