Strep: Sore throat of a bacterial cause is usually streptococcus not MRSA suspect sore throat is viral illness or strep throat. Get a culture done.

Possibly thrush: If you were prescribed broad spectrum antibioics, they may have killed off the friendly bacteria and left you with a fungal or bacterial secondary infection.
