D;C.: If you are truly 9 wks preg and ultrasound at 9wks showed a 6 wk fetus without a heart beat, it sounds like fetal demise (ie. That the fetus died in utero). The experience of the tech must be taken into account, as an inexperienced tech may miss an early fetal heart beat. Please review all your findings with your OB if all findings continue to denote fetal demise, you should follow OB rec for d;c.
