A member asked:

Can skipping breakfast damage your digestive system? i was told you have to eat within 30 minutes after waking or it could really mess things up..true?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not true.: The timing of eating has no harmful (or beneficial) effects on the digestive tract. You may have other issues to deal with such as tiredness from lack of calories, overeating at the next meal (with bloating), etc. But these are not from damage or negative effects on the digestive organs - stomach, pancreas, small intestine, etc.
