What does left ventricular size is normal with hypokensia of anterior septum and anterior wall with ef=40% actually mean? i had a quad bypass 7yrs ago

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Indicates that: You left main heart chamber is normal in size but you do have some areas in heart that do not contract as strong which may represent an area that probable suffered an injury or infarction in the past. Also when your pumps out blood from left ventricule the amount pumped out is reduced somewhat. Discuss with your cardiologist the current status of your condition.
