It is expected.: Smoking increases the risk of anovulation and causes short luteal phases quitting therefore will eliminate these problems although initially you'll have shorter luteal phases than those of never smokers. So, your periods will be lighter , shorter with less cramping. This is all good. Congratulations! quitting smoking is very difficult.
