I'm starting to have headaches more often and my eyes kind of hurt as well why could this be?

Headaches!: Could be plain old headaches or migraines. Possibly could be to underlying astigmatism(or hyperopia) that is not compensated for with glasses or contacts. With time and age it is more difficult for your eyes to compensate and can first lead to head aches. Later it can lead to blurred vision, which you may need to correct the astigmatism (or hyperopia) to see well. Could also be sinusitis, +++.
