Diphtheria: You are fortunate to be alive. However, see a cardiologist. You may have sustained cardiac damage that is responsible for your fatigue.

Diphtheria: Since there's massive necrosis of the throat and airways in diphtheria, it sometimes takes years for your swallowing to return to normal. However, you'd do well to seek another cause for your fatigue. A cbc, chemical profile and thyroid check are in order. I see that you come from great britain and I am sorry that the anti-immunization activism there has done so much damage. Make your voice heard.
