See G.I. Doctor: Reflux of acid and food does not indicate that the anti acid, in this case nexium, (esomeprazole) is the culprit. The food indicates a mechanical problem of competancy of the sphincter mucsle between the stomach and the esophagus. It is necessary to see a gastroenterologist to have this problem evaluated.
