Chronic anxiety: This is likely just chronic anxiety about a very rare condition. Without progressive neurologic issues the diagnosis is not present.

No: Bulbar ALS doen't stay the same. It relentlessly progesses rostrally & caudally. "Anxiety" in medicine denotes IRRATIONAL worry. Your anxiety is either generalized & you've found a convenient object, or you've buried some deep-seated fear under this fixation. Uncovering your real conflict and facing it despite your fear is the key to personal growth. Think of this as an opportunity, not weakness.

Check sinuses: You could be experiencing sinusitis or even gastro-esophageal reflux. Why are you worried about "bulbar ALS"? See an internist, get this all assessed, and if your worry is strongly affecting you, get counseling.
