See answer: It is not uncommon to have a variable degree of self-limiting pain and discomfort after ureteroscopy that usually lasts no more than a few days. Persistent, bothersome pain is suggestive of a possible retained stone fragment in the ureter or passage of another stone into the ureter from the kidney and warrants a repeat ct scan to diagnose.

Probably not...: Persistent pain suggests constantly something chemical or mechanical irritating local tissue. Urinary-stone-related pain features its own highly variable degree and duration with pain-free interval while on its way down from kidney through ureter to bladder; while not moving, it produces no pain except developing related infection, but usually with recurrent chill, fever, sick... So, talk with doc.
