Depends: If the kid is pulling to stand and cruising along furniture i would expect independent walking within the month. If premature at birth, i would give the kid a bit longer. If neither is true, i would bring this up with your doc at the next regular visit.

Late walking : The average age of walking is 12 months, but there is a wide range in which it is still considered normal from 9-16 months. Walking is determined by muscle strength, coordination/balance and temperament of the child. Continue to keep regular well visits with your pediatrician to assess development and overall health.
