Get it checked: Regardless of what stage of treatment you are at, any level of swelling is not "normal". Whether you are not on antibiotics or not, it would be best to contact your treating dentist for specific professional advise with your condition.

See DDS pronto: Antibiotics do not eliminate the cause of your infection. A dentist must perform definitive procedures -either extract the offending teeth, perform root canal treatment if the teeth can be saved or treat your gums if you have a periodontal (gum) infection. Good success to you. Medication is not the answer.
